'Rawson'
Rawson was developed by the NDSU Barley Breeding Program and released by the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station in 2005. Rawson General Characteristics: very large kernel; loose hull; long rachilla hairs; rough awns; white aleurone; medium maturity; medium height, and medium straw strength. The research fee for Rawson is 25 cents per bushel on Registered and Certified Seed. Please note that the research fee for this variety will increase to 75 cents on all seed sales beginning on July 1, 2010.
