Description
This honeysuckle has a dense, upright, oval form sustainable for over 10 years. Attractive bright-green tinged gray-blue foliage in early summer dulls somewhat in late summer, combined with light pink-tinged flowers and red berries are characteristic of this variety. Resistant to Russian aphid and witches’ brooming, Prairie Star™ is hardy in USDA zone 3 to 2b. It can grow ten to twelve feet tall. Propagation is by softwood and/or hardwood cuttings.

Nursery stock, general landscape use, shelterbelts, farmstead windbreaks, wildlife planting, living snow fences and other conservation purposes
